Miner's Ditch Trail
Above the Narrows, in summer 2007, we discovered a major mining era-ditch built to carry water for hydraulic mining at Rose Bar. The next spring, we cleared a trail along the old ditch and down to the Yuba River, uncovering an unused trail as we worked. We anticipate that it will be opened to the public after the Trust for Public Lands acquires the property, and that it will become one of the premier scenic and historic hiking trails along the Yuba River.
