Black Swan Ranch
The historic 50-acre Black Swan Ranch is the crown jewel of Excelsior. Located near the confluence of Deer Creek and the Yuba River and adjacent to the rich gold-bearing gravels and wildlife habitat of the Black Swan hydraulic diggings, the five-acre building envelope sits on gently sloping grassland, surrounded by the lichen-covered stone walls of a gold-rush era homestead and overlooking Englebright Reservoir and the Yuba River Narrows. Surrounded by over 600 acres of publically owned and permanently protected open space, The Black Swan Ranch enjoys exclusive access to Excelsior’s hiking and equestrian trails and the recreational resources of the Yuba River. The Black Swan Ranch will become available for purchase in 2011.
